I provide individual counseling to adults age 18 and older.
I am also available to consult, present, and provide education on diverse topics related to grief and loss.

I offer both virtual and in-person sessions. Teletherapy is available to clients attending sessions within Washington, DC. I also have a limited number of in-person hours remaining on Wednesdays at my office in DuPont Circle.
45-minute individual counseling sessions
My rate for new clients is $220 per 45-minute session. I sometimes have availability for a limited number of reduced-fee hours. Please do not hesitate to ask about my sliding-scale rates.
Payment
We will discuss payment and fees during our initial phone consultation. My fees for individual counseling are standard for psychotherapy services in Washington, DC. I sometimes have availability for a limited number of reduced-fee hours. Please do not hesitate to ask about my sliding-scale rates.
I accept the following payment methods: cash, check, all major credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA card.
Please note that there is a 4% processing free for payments made by card.
Insurance Reimbursement
I am an out-of-network provider, which means that my counseling services are eligible for partial reimbursement by most insurance companies. I can provide you with a statement of my counseling services that you can submit for reimbursement. Prior to scheduling an appointment with me, I encourage you to ask your insurer what mental health benefits your plan offers and their process for reimbursement.

I am available to provide consultation, presentations, workshops, and educational services on diverse issues in grief, loss, bereavement, non-bereavement loss, complicated grief, death and dying, grief education, and a variety of topics related to mental health.
